After a 3rd place finish in the 2012 Championship Shootout and a 2nd place finish in the 2012-13 Winter Series, F1600 2013 race winner Aaron Telitz, 21, Birchwood Wisconsin, won the winner-take-all 2013 Skip Barber Race Series Championship Shootout and the $200,000 driver development scholarship for use toward a seat in the 2014 Cooper Tires USF2000 Series powered by Mazda.

Sharon, CT – Formula Race Promotions today announced its 2014 schedules for the F2000 Championship Series, now in its ninth season, the F1600 Formula F Championship Series, and the newly re-launched Atlantic Championship Series. The schedule is made up of a diverse set of race tracks in North America based on team and driver feedback.

West Kingsdown, England (October 27, 2013) – It was always going to be hard to top yesterday’s opening day at the Brands Hatch Formula Ford Festival as Team USA Scholarship drivers Jake Eidson and Joey Bickers made light of treacherous conditions to finish first and second in their respective heat races. A dramatic overnight weather change saw this morning’s Semi Final race run in cool, dry conditions, after which Eidson and Bickers finished a disappointing fifth and sixth after starting from the front row of the grid.
