CORBY, England – After a successful test at Donington Park last Thursday, Aaron and I helped the Cliff Dempsey team pack up the truck. We then headed over to Oulton Park with the team’s mechanic Jake – or as everyone calls him, “Cookie.” It was a short hour-and-a-half drive, making for a nice ride through some small villages. We parked the truck and collected Cliff and Harrison before heading over to the hotel for a good night’s rest. The next morning quickly arrived and it was time for us to start our two-day outing at Oulton Park. The weekend consisted of four practice runs on Friday followed by a qualifying and two races Saturday.
Millville, NJ - Team USA Scholarship winner Jonathan Kotyk took the final win of the 2017 F1600 Championship Series in round 20 of the season. It was the third and final race of the F1600 weekend from New Jersey Motorsports Park, and like the previous two, featured all green flag laps as Kotyk won a close race by one tenth of a second ahead of teammate and 2017 Series Champion Matthew Cowley. Zach Holden finished third for K-Hill Motorsports.
Millville, NJ - Yuven Sundaramoorthy won his second race of the 2017 F1600 Championship Series season in an exciting photo finish at New Jersey Motorsports Park. Driving the No. 13 for K-Hill Motorsports, Sundaramoorthy won by .014 seconds over Team Pelfrey's Jonathan Kotyk. Another .081 seconds back, Matthew Cowley finished third to clinch the 2017 F1600 Championship Series title for Team Pelfrey.

The two days of evaluations, both on the track and off, will be held in conjunction with the Lucas Oil School of Racing.
Summit Point, WV - Zach Holden closed out the weekend at Summit Point with a dominating victory in the third and final F1600 Championship Series race of the event on the 10-turn course. Holden swept both Sunday races for K-Hill Motorsports, with two wins in the No. 96 Mygale/Honda. Both races were run flag-to-flag in competitive all-green-flag conditions. Following Holden, Matthew Cowley finished second for Team Pelfrey and Yuven Sundaramoorthy was third in a second K-Hill car in the 23-lap race.

Kotyk led an all Pelfrey Mygale/Honda top three with teammates Matthew Cowley and David Osborne completing the podium. Joel Haas won the Masters Class.

Wampum, PA - The first of three F1600 Championship Series races at Pittsburgh International Race Complex was won by Team USA Scholarship candidate Jonathan Kotyk on a near perfect Saturday afternoon at the high-speed 19-turn road course. Kotyk, driving the No. 81 Team Pelfrey Mygale/Honda, held off Zach Holden with two corners to go, with Holden trying an outside move for the race lead. The K-Hill driver would go on to finish second, while points leader Matthew Cowley brought the No. 80 Team Pelfrey car home in third and Mike Scanlan won the Masters Class.

Lexington, OH - David Osborne scored his first ever F1600 Championship Series victory with a win on Sunday morning at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in round 10 of the 2017 season for Team Pelfrey. Osborne beat teammate Jonathan Kotyk to the line in a tight finish, while Chris Horan scored his first ever podium finish in Series competition with a third place result. Cliff Johnson won the Masters Class ahead of Scott Rubenzer and Joel Haas.
Lexington, OH - Matthew Cowley extended his F1600 Championship Series win streak at Mid-Ohio to four races in a row, taking the lead on the 18th and final lap in round nine of the season en route to the race win. His Team Pelfrey teammate David Osborne finished a close second in another Mygale/Honda while Cliff Johnson won the Masters Class in a strong Series debut with a third place result in the No. 4 Piper/Honda.

K-Hill Motorsports strengthens its team and deepens the competition by adding 14 year old Yuven Sundaramoorthy to their team. Yuven comes to the team from the Albany, New York area to start his rookie year with K-Hill Motorsports in their F1600 program.
